About Matthew

Matthew Reasoner focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation and appeals. He has first-chair trial experience, including directing and cross-examining witnesses and giving closing argument in federal court. He represents a broad range of clients and has worked on complex litigation matters in the energy, software, construction and consumer products industries.  

Matthew also has a diverse pro-bono practice. He serves as the Co-Chair of the Houston Bar Association LegalLines Committee and volunteers at the HBA Veteran’s Clinic. He has also represented asylum seekers in immigration court and has argued a pro-bono jury trial.

During law school, he served as a section representative for Texas Journal of Oil, Gas and Energy Law Society and as a staff editor for Texas Review of Entertainment & Sports Law.
